The principles of renewing registration are implemented within the framework of the relevant legislation:

  1. Students must renew their registration within the period specified in the academic calendar for each semester/year. In order for a student to renew their registration, they must pay the tuition contribution fee if it is required to be paid according to the current legislation and register for courses in accordance with this Regulation. If a student fails to fulfill one of these, their registration will not be renewed.
  2. Students who do not renew their registration cannot take courses, take exams and benefit from student rights.
  3. If a student does not renew their registration on time without an excuse included in the relevant articles of this Regulation and accepted by the relevant board of directors, that semester/year will be counted as their education period.
  4. (4) Students who cannot register for courses on time can apply with a petition and receive the approval of the relevant board within one week at the latest after the end of the registration renewal date and register for courses. Students who have excuses such as illness, natural disaster or death of a relative must document their excuses.
  5. Students who have completed all courses required for graduation and fulfilled the attendance requirement according to the first paragraph of Article 44 of Law No. 2547, but have failed some courses and have been granted additional exam rights, must register for the courses they will take exams for within the registration renewal period specified in the academic calendar at the beginning of the semester/year in order to use these exam rights. If the course is removed from the program, the student must register for an approved equivalent course if the relevant course is a compulsory course and the student must pass this course. If the relevant course is an elective course and the student has completed the total credits he/she is exempt from that course. Students in this situation must pay their contribution fees in accordance with the relevant legislation until they graduate.
