Course and Exam Program Commission Job Description
Purpose of the Commission: To
ensure that the course and exam schedules are prepared in a transparent and
accessible manner that is compatible with the academic calendar, responds to
the needs of students/instructors, does not contain conflicts and technical
problems.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities
A. Curriculum Management
- Calendar
Integration:
- To
prepare a draft program in accordance with the start/end of the semester,
midterm holidays and public holidays determined in the academic calendar
- Conflict
Avoidance:
- Creating
a conflict-free program by taking into account student groups, classroom
capacities and instructor availability
- Resource
Optimization:
- To
distribute the use of laboratories, workshops and specially equipped
classrooms in a balanced way with the 85% capacity rule
- Custom
Condition Management:
- To
make special arrangements for disabled student access, double major
students and part-time instructors
B. Exam Schedule Management
- Calendar
Planning:
- Determining
midterm/final dates in accordance with the academic calendar (At least 48
hours between exams)
- Venue
Management:
- Planning
hall capacity/supervisor ratio, technical infrastructure
(projection/network) and security measures
- Emergency
Protocols:
- Have
backup exam plans ready in case of illness, disaster or system failure
