Internship Commission Job Description
Purpose of the Commission:
Internship processes in order to develop students'
sector-integrated, applied skills; planning, execution, evaluation and
monitoring. At the same time, aiming to maximize the contribution of internship
practices to professional qualifications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Commission:
A. Internship Process Planning
- Determining
and announcing the internship calendar at the beginning of the academic
year
- Developing
cooperation with suitable internship areas, businesses and institutions
- To
supervise the technical and ethical competencies of the companies where
internship can be done
B. Application of Directives and Standards
- To
ensure that the Internship Directive complies with YÖK and university
legislation
- Organizing
internship information meetings for students (insurance, obligations,
reporting, etc.)
C. Application and Admission Processes
- Confirming
students' internship places
- Reviewing
documents such as internship file, acceptance form, business approval
documents, etc.
- Providing
an alternative to risky or inadequate business applications
D. Monitoring and Auditing
- Regularly
monitoring the internship process of students
- Evaluating
feedback from businesses
- To
develop solutions to the problems encountered during the internship
E. Evaluation and Certification
- Examining
the internship book and reports according to the evaluation criteria
- To
determine the final internship grade, taking into account the employer's
opinion forms
- Creating
a compensation plan in case of unsuccessful internships
